Great for storing food

I have lots of beautiful weck jars for storing food but the glass lid/rubber seal/metal clip combo are quite annoying to take on and off. These timber lids are perfect, they seal well but are easy to remove and replace. They look really nice on open shelving. The finish is raw, but they are well sanded. I used some food safe chopping board oil (orange oil) to finish them, but on reflection probably didn't need to. Big thumbs up from me!
