This bottle uses a 38-400 continuous thread (CT) neck finish. It is compatible with:
- 38mm plastisol-lined screw caps: The standard choice for hot-fill sauces, syrups, and dressings. Fill hot, invert briefly, and the lid seals as it cools.
- 38mm disc-top or flip-top caps: Great for pourable products like sauces and dressings where customers need easy dispensing without removing the lid.
- 38mm pour spouts / fitments: Ideal for syrups, oils, and vinegars — gives a controlled, drip-free pour.
- 38mm shrink bands: Add a tamper-evident seal for market, wholesale, or retail presentation. Compatible bands are available in matching sizes.
Filling & Sealing Methods
- Hot Fill: The most common method for sauces, syrups, and condiments. Fill the bottle with your product at 85–90°C, wipe the neck clean, apply a plastisol-lined cap, and invert for 1–2 minutes to create a vacuum seal as the product cools.
- Cold Fill with Refrigeration: For products that don't require heat processing — dressings, fermented sauces, or products with preservatives — fill cold and seal with a screw cap. Store refrigerated and use within the product's shelf life.
- Pasteurisation (Tunnel or Batch): For commercial runs requiring shelf-stable processing, this bottle is suitable for tunnel pasteurisation when paired with appropriate closures.
