Ball Lids for preserving fit all regular mouth glass preserving jars. Seal in the freshness and enjoy freshly made foods tonight or tomorrow. Lids should be for one-time use only.
Note that this is just the flat disk that sits on top of the jar — the bands to hold the lid in place are included in this bundle.
The lids are made in bulk by Ball and do not have anything printed on the top of them (photo is illustrative only).

Bands can be reused multiple times. Made in the USA.
Quick Tips
Make sure the top rim of the jar is clean and clear of food debris, place the flat lid on top of the jar and then screw on the band finger tight. The jar is then ready for processing. After the food has cooled, check for a seal — you can then store without the screw band, which can be reused for processing other jars.
For fresh preserving, follow a tested preserving recipe such as those found in the Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving.
Care Instructions
Lids and bands are not stainless steel. Hand wash only. Do not put in dishwasher. Dry thoroughly immediately after use to avoid corrosion.
