I have resisted buying these types of jars in the past, but this year I needed to make pate and to have something nice to put out on the table. These jars are great to put into the oven on a low temperature to cook the pate, without the rubber band, and then put out on the table. Once the pate has chilled it looks very elegant and professional inside these clear jars.
Also, once they come out of the oven, you can put the rubber seal around the lid and clipped them down and then put them in the fridge and they will also self seal which helps. Keep the pate fresher for longer.
