How Ball Mason Jars Are Packed for Bulk Orders:
All Ball Mason Jars are shipped in their original Ball-branded cases, each designed to protect the glass during transit. Each case contains a set number of jars (noted in the product listing), complete with flat lids and screw bands. Cases are securely packed by our warehouse team to minimise breakage risk during Australia-wide delivery.
Caring for Your Ball Mason Jars:
With proper care, Ball Mason Jars can last many years of use. Here are our top care tips:
- Wash before first use — always hand wash or dishwasher wash new jars before preserving
- Inspect before each use — check for chips or cracks, especially on the rim where the lid seals
- Use new flat lids for preserving — reuse screw bands, but always use a fresh flat lid for each new batch of preserving to ensure a safe, reliable vacuum seal
- Freezer safe — Ball Mason Jars can be used in the freezer; leave 2cm of headspace to allow for liquid expansion
- Avoid thermal shock — do not move jars directly from the freezer to a hot oven or vice versa
