The Heat Pad provides a low constant heat where it is needed for fermentation.
Aids yeast activity and help to avoid stuck fermentation.
The maximum temperature of the heat pad is up to 10°C (50°F) above the ambient temperature in an open environment and up to 15°C (59°F) above the ambient temperature in a small fermentation chamber.
The amount of heat sent out by the pad is rated at 25/30W.
The heat pad is designed to be used under a 24-28 L (6.3-7.4 US Gal) fermentation bucket or barrel, so anything that doesn't weigh over around 26 kg is acceptable. We don't recommend going over this weight because it will increase the risk of damaging the plastic housing on it.
