A fermentation crock is a stoneware pot designed to hold vegetables while they are fermenting. All our fermentation crocks have a water moat allowing you to ferment large quantities very easily.
Our crocks range in size from 3 litres to a massive 20 litres (that's a lot of sauerkraut!) If you are serious about food fermentation we recommend the 10 litre size for the average househould: they typically hold 8 - 10kg of produce and can be used for smaller batches if you only want to fill it up a quarter or half way.
