Poultry Automatic Ballast Drinker

The Poultry Automatic Ballast Drinker is a big suspension waterer that works on the ballasting principle. As water is taken the load lightens and the valve system lets water in again. This waterer is ideal for up to 300 chicks or 150 laying hens or as a home breeder waterer (particularly turkeys and geese).

The drinker has a 10mm water connection and has an adjustable water level. The dish diameter is 37cm and the overall height is 55cm. Working pressure from 0.2 - 0.5 bar (3 - 8 psi).

It is an excellent product piece of equipment.
It would have been helpful to have had a few instructions. Not so much as to assemble it but how to adjust it . There was not much help on YouTube and some enclosed advice as to how to fine tune the settings would have helped

I have had a similar apparatus for 12 years so we're somewhat familiar with the workings. A first time user might have had a few problems before getting it up and running satisfactorily
I am pleased with it and hope it will last another 12 years !!!!
